TIPO received 78,014 IPR applications with 6.2% drop totally in 2014.

However, in the drop there was a decrease of 12.3% in number of invention applications by Taiwan nationals in 2014.

Top five nations applying invention patent application in Taiwan, in which three tops had 2.7% to 3.8% drop approximately.
