TIPS

TIPS (Taiwan Intellectual Property Management System) is introduced to helping enterprise or any organization establishing an organized intellectual property management system. In compliance with the requirements of TIPS, TIPS can either dig out insufficiency of the conventional intellectual property management, or efficiently strengthen the internal intellectual property management of the organization. More profit will produce in consequence.

A key feature of TIPS is to integrate a Plan-Do-Check-Action of 2000 quality management system in ISO 9001. The Action not only solves the problem to the disorder in IP management, but also continuously improves it.

TIPS has public credibility from ISO, complete framework, and low entry. The interests may integrate with ISO since introducing TIPS in order to reduce the variations of the enterprise structure and cost. The ISO and TIPS will not be conflicting. If the enterprise or organization has its own ISO system originally, it will accelerate the introduction of TIPS.

However, TIPS not only aims at big entity, but also fits for any organization. One department, a unit or a project team may also introduce TIPS, for example, whole company, a specific department, an experiment laboratory, or a product project may have it. TIPS pursues an efficient way to manage intellectual property, so as to make the local enterprises to integrate the equipments and IP management for a convenient and efficient system. Therefore, the enterprises raise competitiveness since they can reduce the infringement damages, even find the profit from authorization.
