長達456頁的報告中,1.2「patents」開宗明義就說AI相關專利從2010年的3千多件專利申請案到2023年12萬件(資料來源是包括各國專利家族的EPO的PATSTAT Global),而且是指數成長,亞洲國家專利獲准率比歐美高得多,而中國特別突出。
關於AI,此份報告整理出12個趨勢:

2. AI is increasingly embedded in everyday life. (AI持續介入日常生活,愈來愈多的AI驅動的裝置,如自駕車、無人機;AI機器人、寫新聞、報新聞、學習、翻譯、搜尋、客服...)
3. Business is all in on AI, fueling record investment and usage, as research continues to show strong productivity impacts. (企業持續引入AI,增進產業發展)
4. The U.S. still leads in producing top AI models—but China is closing the performance gap. (美國為AI領先,中國逼近)
5. The responsible AI (RAI) ecosystem evolves—unevenly. (負責任AI (RAI)的生態不平衡(關於AI真實性與安全性))
