筆記
常常用"computer-readable medium", "computer-executable memory", "computer-readable recording medium", "computer-readable storage medium"...的權利主張包裝軟體程式方法的發明，這不但有與硬體連結，寫法多半也被歐美專利局所接受，但仍要求發明本身具有新穎性與進步性，但範圍內仍應符合連結具有貢獻的硬體部件的要求。
歐洲的寫法算是琳琅滿目，比如（多數為核准專利所摘錄）：
引用式的寫法：
