Patent Bell - 讓檢索工作輕鬆一點

Chrome/firefox外掛程式Petapator/Aspator的作者Kenneth Yip繼續開發了Patent Bell專利工具，功能是加強Google Patents的搜尋能力，目前僅針對Chrome，相信不久的將來也用有firefox版本的。

這類外掛程式多半以美國專利為目標，除了美國是個重要的專利國家，包括申請、訴訟、買賣、專利權主張等，還有美國專利的內容、爭議過程都是完整而容易取得的。

試用（強調一下，這個外掛功能僅適用由以下連結進入時運作，而不能用於先執行一般Google搜尋功能再選擇Patents選項的方式，updated on Dec.5,2013）：

要關閉Instant Search的功能，在search settings中設為"never show instant results"，Patent Bell提供的功能有：直接查看檢索結果的所有圖示（Gallery）、查看WordClouds重要字詞、可以輸出搜尋結果等。

1. Click on Gallery to see/hide all figures of all patents.
2. Click on WordCloud to see/hide the WordClouds.
3. Check on the checkbox for the patents that you are interested, and then click on Export to export the search results.
4. When viewing the export file at Excel or OpenOffice, use "tab delimited" and "UTF-8 encoding".  

安裝Chrome的"patent bell"擴充功能（extension）

安裝啟動後，會使得Google Patents搜尋解果的顯示方式更豐富

按下"WordCloud"可以呈現專利內重要的字詞，但這功能似乎不是很穩定（updated on Dec.5, 2013，這方面功能非常OK了）

Gallery功能

將選擇的專利案匯出，可用Excel看，但預設副檔名並不會自動加上"xls"

按下瀏覽器右上角的鐘形符號，可以試試看使用監視功能，其中語法用uspto的布林運算
