At July 9, 2015, TIPO (Taiwan Intellectual Property Office) announced guidance for design drawings, and the latest version is at July 16, 2015.
what i concern is as follows:
Example of specification and drawings for design application shows the specification for TW design application should includes title of design, use of the design, and any statement if needs, of course the requisite drawings.
TIPO accepts normal design application, and also the partial design application.
normally, design application should have a perspective view of the article, be the representative figure, and the other drawings such as front view, rear view, left-side view, right-side view, top view and bottom view figures for clarification.
many teachings included in the guidance, such as a Orthographic Method for drawing.
the shade, the shade may be used for indicating the texture of the surface of article; but shade lines are not required for general case of TW design application.
applicant can annotate the parts of the drawing.
